On the BBC iplayer help pages a message quickly went up stating that the issues with the iplayer had been solved for the majority of users. There were also instructions for people who were still having problems. The instructions were to look at the message boards.
Meanwhile, hopefully as a result of my previous message to them, I received an email from the BBC.
My iplayer desktop still does not work even after your “fix”. It will not play downloaded programs, download new programs or stream programs for your website.
I am sending this as a complaint rather than as a fault report because when I sent it as a fault report I got nowhere. I have received an email from you which tells me to do exactly the same thing as the message on your website does. Your last ditch solution is that I watch programs via streaming. As my complaint was that I can’t stream programs I am beginning to doubt your commitment to helping me.
I awaited their reply. To this date my iplayer desktop does not work.
